Waxing Etiquette
Preparation & Dress code
Please arrive clean and refreshed. Please arrive 10 minutes earlier if this is your first visit. We recommend you exfoliate your skin with our Honey Bunny COFFEE SCRUB, to remove any dead cells and prepare your skin 24hrs before your appointment as this will remove any dead skin cells on the surface and make it easier for the hair to be removed.
No double dipping policy
We also have a strict NO DOUBLE DIPPING POLICY this means we do not cross contaminate between our clients.
During the treatment, every step of the process will be explained to you and we may need your help.
All you have to do is follow our instructions to help. Helping with skin stretching, getting into different positions and so on.
Because of this, no mobile phones or magazines will be allowed during your treatment. This is about teamwork.
Treatment
To ensure our treatments are as comfortable and efficient as can be, we use what we believe to be the best waxing products around.
Length of hair
The hair needs to be a minimum of 1 centimetre to ensure maximum results.
If you have been shaving, you need a minimum of 2 weeks growth.
If the hair is too short, the therapist will recommended that you do not carry out the treatment and wait until it is long enough to get the best results. If you are worried that the hair is too long, don't worry we will trim it for you. We want to give you the best results and don't want to waste your money.
Dress code
Intimate wax services are provided naked, paper pants will not be provided. There is nothing to be embarrassed about. Don't forget, we are ladies too and we have seen it all! We also recommend that it is more suitable to wear loose fitting clothing for after your wax as the skin is sensitive and you don't want any irritation to occur.
First Visit
On your first visit you will have to fill out a consultation form. This will only take 7 minutes to complete and will help us to provide a safe service for you. Everything discussed is confidential. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment time. If you are nervous, we are happy to answer all your questions Don't be shy. We are professionals and we love waxing!
Health and Safety
We welcome all ages in our salon and we understand being a parent can restrict time for personal appointments but taking in consideration that we are a waxing salon we kindly recommend that there is someone to supervise your children while you have your treatment or to book an appointment where you are free as the salon is not a suitable environment because there are many hazards for young ones.

How to prepare for your wax
We recommend allowing your hair to grow for a least two weeks (10 to 14 days) before your appointment. (We need AT LEAST a 1/4 of an inch of hair growth so the hair is long enough for the wax to grab). If you feel your hair is too long, no worries, we can trim it for you! A warm bath and gently exfoliating the night before will soften the skin, allowing for easier hair removal. Don't forget, come as relaxed as possible. We know your first time you don't know what to expect, so just know your first time will be the most uncomfortable. However, most people walk out completely satisfied with their results and tell us that it was not as bad as they had expected.
